In 2002, after completing the Professional Degree in classical saxophone, he moved to Barcelona to specialize in jazz saxophone at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). During his time at ESMUC he studied with professors such as Xavier Figuerola, Eladio Reinón, and Ignacio Gascón, graduating in 2006 with Honors.

He further enriched his training by attending seminars and taking private lessons with acclaimed musicians like Perico Sambeat, Javier Vercher, Dick Oatts, Dave Liebman, Bob Mintzer, Jerry Bergonzi, Bill McHenry, Chris Cheek, Mark Turner, Walter Smith III and Seamus Blake.

In 2018 he was selected to be part of the Focusyear Band 19, a prestigious project by the Musik-Akademie Basel. For one year he worked and shared the stage with prominent figures such as Guillermo Klein, Dave Liebman, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Jorge Rossy, Dominique Girod, Ambrose Akinmusire, Jim Black, Billy Childs, Luciana Souza, Marilyn Mazur, Seamus Blake, Nils Wogram, John Hollenbeck, Norma Winston, Julian Lage, and Django Bates.

Throughout his career he has performed at numerous national and international festivals, collaborating with renowned musicians such as Tom Harrell, Jorge Rossy, Antonio Serrano, Doug Weiss, Jeb Patton, Vinicius Gomes, Joan Monné, Martín Leiton, Juan Galiardo, Lluís Vidal, Ernesto Aurignac, Jaume Llombart, Perico Sambeat, and Roger Mas, among others. His discography includes two albums as a leader, "Broken Line" and "Changes," as well as over thirty albums as a sideman.

He combines his performance career with teaching, specializing and furthering his education with a Master's Degree in Music Pedagogy from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC).

• 1st prize at the Keep an Eye international Jazz Competition organized by the Conservatory of Amsterdam with the Focusyear Band 19. (2019)

• La ruta del Jazz award to the best musician given by the digital of culture Núvol, on the occasion of the release of his first album as a leader Broken Line. (2017)

• 2nd prize in the I International Jazz Competition of Almería with CJ Quintet. (2014)

• Finalist in the Getxo International Competition with Josep Tutusaus Sextet. (2008)

• Selected for the Catalan Jazz Tour with Afinke, in which he shares the bill with Perico Sambeat trio in Paris and London. (2008)

• 1st prize at the VI International Competition of Jazz performers of Granada as best young group with Afinke. (2006)

• 1st prize at the Barcelona Jazz Competition with Afinke. (2005)

En 2002, tras completar el Grado Profesional de saxo clásico, se traslada a Barcelona para especializarse en saxo jazz en la Escuela Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). Durante su estancia en la ESMUC, estudia con profesores como Xavier Figuerola, Eladio Reinón e Ignacio Gascón, y se gradúa en 2006 con Matrícula de Honor.

Amplía su formación asistiendo a seminarios y tomando clases particulares con renombrados músicos como Perico Sambeat, Javier Vercher, Dick Oatts, Dave Liebman, Bob Mintzer, Jerry Bergonzi, Bill McHenry, Chris Cheek, Mark Turner, Walter Smith III y Seamus Blake.

En 2018 es seleccionado para formar parte del Focusyear Band 19, un prestigioso proyecto de la Musik-Akademie de Basilea. Durante un año trabaja y comparte escenario con figuras de la talla de Guillermo Klein, Dave Liebman, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Jorge Rossy, Dominique Girod, Ambrose Akinmusire, Jim Black, Billy Childs, Luciana Souza, Marilyn Mazur, Seamus Blake, Nils Wogram, John Hollenbeck, Norma Winston, Julian Lage y Django Bates.

A lo largo de su carrera ha actuado en numerosos festivales nacionales e internacionales, colaborando con músicos de renombre como Tom Harrell, Jorge Rossy, Antonio Serrano, Doug Weiss, Jeb Patton, Vinicius Gomes, Joan Monné, Martín Leiton, Juan Galiardo, Lluís Vidal, Ernesto Aurignac, Jaume Llombart, Perico Sambeat y Roger Mas, entre otros. Su discografía incluye dos discos como líder, "Broken Line" y "Changes", así como más de treinta discos como sideman.

Compagina su actividad como intérprete con la docencia, especializándose y ampliando su formación con un Máster en Pedagogía para Músicos en la Escuela Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC).
